A man in Louisiana, USA stopped to rescue one tiny kitten on the side of the road.

Instead he got ambushed by the rest of the litter hiding in the tall grass. Thirteen kittens in total.

This happened back in 2022. Robert Brantley was heading to the shooting range after work when he saw the kitten. Most people only saw the first moment online. Almost nobody knew what he did next.

He was not planning to take any home that day. But he could not leave them there.

He loaded all thirteen into his car and brought the whole group home.

He and his wife fostered them for weeks until they were healthy. They found loving homes for nearly every one.
